SIP 1000 is a length measuring system with a slide drive provided by an electric motor manufactured with the highest possible degree of accuracy dedicated to the control of plug gauges, rings, setting rings, snap gauges and internal or external thread gauges. These machines are constructed in accordance with the Abbe's measurement principe (with the measuring system and the measurement sensors lying on the same place). No other mechanical design allows more accurate measurements. The machine bed and tailstock are made of stabilised grey cast iron. The measuring system consists of a steel graduated scale which has proven its unsurpassed stability and accuracy in many years of use. The measuring bench moves in five axes and is equipped with a height measuring system.
