The PROMUX8 multiplexer allows quick acquisitions of incremental probes through a computer RS232. It is possible to connect, between them, up to 16 multiplexers wich allows the linkage of 128 probes. Linked to incremental probes (micron accurate on long measurement travels) these multiplexers allow a reduction of the mechanical fixtures realisation cost. The referenced masters are simplified and can be used to control different pieces. So they are less expensive and less numerous. |
